La Manga club is a very large resort in the South-east of Spain in the region of Murcia covering an area of around 1400 acres. This region is said to have around 300 days of sunshine a year, but of course, this is not guaranteed.

The club is situated very close to both the Mar Menor (little sea) and the Mediterranean. There are numerous beaches around both seas, and water sports is a particular favourite past-time on the Mar Menor as it is the largest salt water lake in Europe.

It is possible to spend many weeks without leaving the resort, because all necessary facilities are on site: Around 28 restaurants and bars, 2 supermarkets, several other shops, banks, a luxury Spa, petrol station, a pharmacy and even a medical doctor reside within the resort. Please turn to page “useful” to spot the location of the most important of these facilities (including golf & tennis).

There is a small beach on the club which is accessible by a steep track/road with a restaurant overlooking the beach.
