Instructions how to register your mail-box

What is this about and why should I do it?

If you give us your mail-address, the committee and the community administration will be able to send you important information by E-mail, which is faster and cheaper than using ordinary mail. We want to encourage you to use this communication channel, because it saves us time and money, the environment could benefit because it saves paper and last but not least you get more often more up-to-date information about our community.

Of course, we also want to encourage you to use E-mail in the other direction and sent inquiries and applications by E-mail to the following addresses:

Privacy consideration and disclaimer

We take privacy issues seriously and therefore we assure you the following:

Your mail address will not be disclosed to anyone other than the committee, the community administration or people commissioned by the former. All of these will solely use it for Los Molinos matters. We use state of the art protection of this web-site and related computer services to avoid threatening your computer environment from here.

However, we assume that you are familiar with Internet and E-mail usage and in particular, we take no responsibility whatsoever in regard to any damage which could happen to your computer because of Internet and E-mail threats. The protection of your own computer environment including but not restricted to protection against virus and other mal-ware remains your sole responsibility.

Here is how to register your e-mail address

We would very much appreciate if you give us your E-mail address now, which is very easy: Please simply send an E-mail to: mailreg@lmc-molinos.com with subject: “registration”. The E-mail address you use to send us this mail will be copied into our E-mail-database and subsequently be used to send you information by E-mail. Please specify inside the mail the house number of your villa and all first and last names of the owners who are ready to receive E-mail via the sender’s mail address.

An example: if your names are Jane and John Doe and you own the Los Molinos villa LM999 your registration mail would look like this:

From: whatever mailbox you use
Subject: Registration
Mail-text: Names: Jane Doe, John Doe
 Villa: LM199

Please note, that you may register as many mail-addresses as you want. One reason for this could be, that in the previous example Jane and John have separate mail-addresses and both want to get their own copy of all Los Molinos e-mails.

After verification of your owners status, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. In a second e-mail you will receive information and instructions how to register as a user and choose a password. Then you will be able to access the “ownersonly” section of our web site.

If you want to deregister a mailbox, please just send an empty E-mail to mailreg@lmc-molinos.com with subject: “Deregistration”. Note that this will only have any effect if sent from a registered mail-address. We would very much appreciate you to send deregistration mail, if you will not be able to read your mail for a longer time or if you delete your mailbox (e.g. because of a change of provider).

Once you have registered your E-mail address, we would appreciate very much if you would allow us to publish some (minimal) information about you on our owners contact page.
